Traveling Guide First Look

So, here it is! What you've been looking for..... Ever wonder what the hotels and attractions in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas has to offer, REALLY, for families? The questions I have to ask so often before traveling are: Is it family friendly? Is it handicapped accessible? Will my ENTIRE family have a good time? I am not only a single mom trying to make memories with my sweet little man but I'm also a caregiver to my mother who is a wheelchair bound amputee, so not only do I want to help my son have a fantastic time I want to be sure my mother doesn't feel in the way or like a burden. On top of all that, I'm a nurse with a fairly stressful job and so getting away, with my family, for a break to just enjoy each other and recover a bit. We have found a good way to meet all of our needs and have good quality time together is every few months we jump online when I have a day or more off and find a hotel and an attraction nearby, when there is time. Here I will share with you our experiences, good and bad, so you can know how a place can really meet the needs of whatever your family has! Hope you enjoy and find this helpful~ if there is somewhere you'd like to know about or a detail you'd like to know about a place, ask away!

Real Free stuff

Hey, so I found this cool freebie site, Hey It's Free!! from the Woman's Day magazine. I was worried at first about the whole spam thing but WOW was I wrong. Goob, the main man, does an awesome job not only filtering out all the spammy stuff but he is ridiculously entertaining and amusing as well. I have gotten some really cool freebies like a TiVo Cookie cutter, posters, stickers and even free Magic the gathering decks (which I gave to my brother for Christmas, Thanks Goob).
AND NOW, as if it isn't awesome enough to get tons of free stuff so easily, he is giving away a $50 Wal-mart card (imagine the yarn you could get, or supplies, etc..)just for sharing the info with you guys!! So go check it out, you will be pleasantly surprised!
