My mom's medical update/Sorry not knittong related

We just got home from a visit to the Emergency Room with mom which resulted in (for her) the reality that she will with 100% positivity be having her left big toe amputated in the VERY near future (as in what I expect will be in the next week maybe two). The gangrene that has been stable for several months now (we were scheduled for them to unblock the artery in that leg the second week of december) has decided to begin to get worse. So, she is back on antibiotics and will see the wound care doctor/surgeon thursday to asses the toe and we will know more then. Please be praying for peace and acceptance for her as she has been trying to convince herself all this time that the toe can be saved and now there is not a chance at all for that (well, we all know God can do that if He so chooses). And also be praying for her strength as losing the big toe basically requires learning how to balance and walk again as this messes with the balance in walking, and for the continued willingness of my sister in law for babysitting. THANKS all for the prayers and support I have seen LEAPS and BOUNDS in her faith since ReMix.

PS: Please feel free to pass this along to any prayer chains or people you know (or I know and I don't have email for) the more prayer the better!!

So funny

Ok, so here's the set-up. Last night I worked in CCU and the 2 patients I had borth had an infection that is contageous that has the fun symptom of massive diarrhea- both of which has catheters in their bums, so I told Evan about it (cause he asked) and so today I put in to get the day off and here is what I found on my computer this afternoon.. . . (seriously this man is . . . . .awesome!)

Evan: 45 minutes and counting
Evan: Will she work, or will she lay around the house...
Evan: Tune in to this week's edition of.. Barbi: Nurse on Call... dun dun dun
Evan: In our last episode, two men coincidentally had a communical butt disease, and claimed to not know each other, nor have communicated this disease to one another's heineys... coincidentally, they arrived at roughly the same time
Evan: Are these cases of communicable butt disease related? Who are these men? Will Barbi be changing their pants again today? Find out, at 1:30
