My mom's medical update/Sorry not knittong related

We just got home from a visit to the Emergency Room with mom which resulted in (for her) the reality that she will with 100% positivity be having her left big toe amputated in the VERY near future (as in what I expect will be in the next week maybe two). The gangrene that has been stable for several months now (we were scheduled for them to unblock the artery in that leg the second week of december) has decided to begin to get worse. So, she is back on antibiotics and will see the wound care doctor/surgeon thursday to asses the toe and we will know more then. Please be praying for peace and acceptance for her as she has been trying to convince herself all this time that the toe can be saved and now there is not a chance at all for that (well, we all know God can do that if He so chooses). And also be praying for her strength as losing the big toe basically requires learning how to balance and walk again as this messes with the balance in walking, and for the continued willingness of my sister in law for babysitting. THANKS all for the prayers and support I have seen LEAPS and BOUNDS in her faith since ReMix.

PS: Please feel free to pass this along to any prayer chains or people you know (or I know and I don't have email for) the more prayer the better!!

So funny

Ok, so here's the set-up. Last night I worked in CCU and the 2 patients I had borth had an infection that is contageous that has the fun symptom of massive diarrhea- both of which has catheters in their bums, so I told Evan about it (cause he asked) and so today I put in to get the day off and here is what I found on my computer this afternoon.. . . (seriously this man is . . . . .awesome!)

Evan: 45 minutes and counting
Evan: Will she work, or will she lay around the house...
Evan: Tune in to this week's edition of.. Barbi: Nurse on Call... dun dun dun
Evan: In our last episode, two men coincidentally had a communical butt disease, and claimed to not know each other, nor have communicated this disease to one another's heineys... coincidentally, they arrived at roughly the same time
Evan: Are these cases of communicable butt disease related? Who are these men? Will Barbi be changing their pants again today? Find out, at 1:30

Political Frustration

Ok- DISCLAIMER: This is written regardless of who I support for President, and I will not argue my decision with anyone. I am well informed I am 100% sure of my choice and I will not change my mind!

With that said, Obama cannot be blamed for the actions of ACORN or Bill Ayers, he's not their keepers or their Daddy! ACORN is responsible for finding if and who made fraudulent registrations and discipline them, it's not Obama who wrote the fake registrations and frankly it's got nothing to do with him- AND Bill Ayers is a big boy just because he was stupid and gave money to terrorist groups does not mean that Obama did. I can tell you at least one action that ALL of my friends have done that I don't agree with- Just because my EX did drugs while we were married does not make me a drug supporter or user or dealer! Get my point! Have a nice day and PLEASE be an informed voter- regardless of your choice of candidates read, research, learn and know what you're voting for!

Poetry

Ok, so there have been lots of thing, life altering things, going on in my family/friends lives that are life altering for those of us who love them as well. Dad Bailey and now Levi it amazes me to see the miricles that God blesses us with in the midst of fear and doubt. ANYWAY, I used to write poetry all the time in high school and so it has been YEARS!! since I have written anything. Tonight, just now I felt the urge and wrote a poem, nothing majorly significant, not even related to the aforementioned life altering events. Hmmmm....

When I get the nerve (and time-I'm at work) to post it I will but who knows. Hmmmm..
